Perform any and all necessary Assessing functions for municipalities. These functions are not limited to:
Navigate yearly personal property mailings, processing returns, BETR & BETE applications, and data entry.
Complete site reviews for full Measure & List of all new and existing residential, exempt and commercial properties within the municipality.
Town wide full measure and list revaluations with taxpayer meetings, sales analysis, factoring updates & tax equalization projects.
Spread the cost of the revaluation over 4 or 5 years by measure and listing 1/4 (25%) of the Town over a 4-year period, verifying current assessments, correcting & updating any inaccurate information, and assessing any new changes based on current cost schedules. During Year 4 or Year 5, conduct preform sales analysis and update current land & building cost schedules based on the findings from sales analysis and taxpayer meetings.
Ability and resources to draft and update yearly tax map changes on existing town tax map mylars and print new annual tax maps.
Annually review assessment records for one fourth (25%) of the municipality with an onsite visit to each property. Verify current assessment accuracy, correct any inaccurate information, and replace or take digital photos of primary structures on the properties.
All services outlined above come with an agreed upon, signed contract.
